Cornerstone Cougar Athletics

I am very blessed to serve Cornerstone as Athletic Director. Not only am I able to form a relationship with the students during the school day as their teacher, but have the privilege of building our relationships through our incredible sports program.
 
We believe athletics at Cornerstone provides additional opportunities for students to develop their God given gifts and talents, to shape their personalities,  and ultimately, bring Him glory. Student athletics can provide invaluable life lessons to help students become grounded with qualities such as commitment, work ethics, moral judgment, sportsmanship, teamwork and behavior. Participating in our sports program also enhances the overall school experience by allowing students to develop and strengthen relationships with their peers outside the classroom.
 
The Athletic Department is designed to provide students with further opportunity for physical development, discipline, and spiritual growth through interscholastic competition under the leadership of qualified coaches with a gift for developing young athletes. As believers, Cornerstone’s coaches serve as our partners in growing students physically, mentally and spiritually.
 
Cornerstone Christian Academy offers baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball as extracurricular team sports. Cornerstone is affiliated with the North Atlanta Metro League, an independent association of more than twenty Christian Middle Schools in Metro Atlanta. Geographically, this includes Christian schools in Duluth, Christian schools in Norcross, Gwinnett County private schools, Fulton County Christian schools, Cobb County Christian schools and Dekalb County Christian Schools, etc.
