The position of Athletic Director at Cornerstone is the best job ever!  Where else can you work with your children, and watch them and their friends blossom into promising athletes?  Sports make a difference in a student’s life, and should be a part of every student’s curriculum.

In today’s world it is critical for students to be well-rounded not only academically, but spiritually, socially, and physically.  Sports entail all of these aspects of life.  That is why sports are a model for life.  Everything you need to be a team-player for a sport are life skills you need to be successful in marriage, family, and work.  Where better to learn cooperation, teamwork, and sportsmanship than with your schoolmates in an encouraging and supportive Christian environment?  It is a joy to watch these student athletes mature and develop the skills needed to compete on the field as well as in life.

Where Do The Cougars Compete?
Cornerstone Christian Academy offers baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball as extracurricular team sports. Cornerstone is affiliated with the North Atlanta Metro League, an independent association of more than twenty Christian Middle Schools in Metro Atlanta. Geographically, this includes Christian schools in Duluth, Christian schools in Norcross, Gwinnett County private schools, Fulton County Christian schools, Cobb County Christian schools and Dekalb County Christian Schools, etc.
