Cross Country is not only a physically demanding sport, but also mentally. Becoming a long distance runner takes discipline in training, but also requires an individual to become physically fit by establishing a balance with diet and rest. Athletes must also keep a constant check while running to balance breathing, pacing, and fatigue. Athletes will be amazed how quickly they can increase their distance in just a few weeks of conditioning. My coaching philosophy for success is to combine God given talents with determination, dedication and hard work. I truly enjoy challenging and encouraging our athletes to reach beyond what they think they can accomplish.
