GIRLS GOLF - SPRING LEAGUE

The CCA 2009 Spring Golf Team was a co-ed team consisting of 8 players, 4 boys and 4 girls. Cornerstone hosted two matches on the par 3 course at River Pines. Everyone was able to play, but only the top four scores counted. We played well, but lost our matches. We also participated in the Annual CCA Golf Fundraiser to show our school spirit. The team really enjoyed the event. Furthermore, we were thrilled to be able to participate in the end of season NAML tournament. In 2008, we brought home a 4th place trophy, but did not place this year. The golfers learned a great deal about how to play competitive golf and about good sportsmanship. Our aim was to improve their golf skills and foster a love of the game.
