STUDENTS WHO LOVE TO LEARN
Your Child is Known, Guided, Challenged, and Celebrated
Cornerstone provides a joyful, Christ-centered education where students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. In Lower School, a strong academic foundation, hands-on learning, and daily Bible integration nurture a love for learning, strong character, and a heart for Jesus. As students move into Middle School, increasing academic rigor and intentional discipleship equip students to think critically and lead courageously. Our students leave middle school as confident young leaders, rooted in Christ and prepared for high school and beyond.
High Level of Engagement
Leadership Development
From day one, students learn The Cornerstone Way, building character, responsibility, and servant leadership. In Middle School, they further develop their gifts through personality assessments, interview training, public speaking, leadership lunches, and more.
Orton-Gillingham
Every Kindergarten through 4th-grade teacher is Orton-Gillingham trained which is a research-based, multisensory method of teaching reading that strengthens phonics, decoding, spelling, and comprehension.
High School Credits for Math and Spanish
Daily Enrichment
Lower School students rotate daily enrichment classes, including P.E., Spanish, Art, Music, Technology, and Library. In Middle School, students explore their passions through a wide variety of electives such as Archery, Mahjong, Cricut, Creative Writing, Video Production, STEM, Woodshop, and more. These experiences encourage creativity, build confidence, and help students discover gifts beyond the traditional classroom.
Writing Specialists
Executive Functioning and Study Skills
Through intentional instruction in organization, time management, study strategies, responsibility, and self-advocacy, students build confidence, develop academic independence, and establish habits that support success in the classroom and throughout life.
