Andrew McDonald

Andrew serves as Director of Operations at Cornerstone Christian Academy, a role he began in 2021. A native Georgian, he grew up in Athens, where he spent many years exploring the University of Georgia campus, where both his parents and grandparents worked. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL and a Master of Arts in Government from the Regent University School of Government in Virginia Beach, VA. His career began in Washington, D.C., where he served as an intern to former Georgia Congressman John Linder, Assistant Director of the Young Leaders Program at The Heritage Foundation, and Director of Career & Alumni Services for the Northern Virginia campus of Regent University. He later spent five years as a church administrator before returning to Georgia.

Outside of Cornerstone, Andrew enjoys traveling with his wife, Esther, and together they have visited 18 countries, with another trip always in the works. Fall weekends are often spent cheering on both the University of Georgia and the University of Notre Dame. They have three children, with one having graduated from Cornerstone and two currently enrolled. The McDonalds are members at Lebanon Baptist Church in Roswell where Andrew serves as a deacon and church treasurer.
