Cristy Walden
Cristy Walden serves as Chief Financial Officer at Cornerstone Christian Academy. A native of Peachtree Corners, Cristy attended Wesleyan School before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Accountancy from Mercer University. After graduation, she joined Deloitte as an external auditor, where she managed audits of SEC registrants and specialized in control implementation. Prior to joining Cornerstone in 2020, Cristy worked at Windham Brannon, LLC, conducting external audits for private companies and nonprofit organizations.
During her career, Cristy taught staff development and continuing professional education classes at Windham Brannon and Deloitte. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. Walden resides in Peachtree Corners with her husband and their daughter who attends Cornerstone. She and her family are members of the Church of the Apostles.
